We're looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our team covering the South East Region. A Sales Development Manager at Plumbase is proud to work as one team, actively developing strong commercial relationships with existing customers and instigating new business, allowing us to service more customers and deliver a great experience for them every time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the regional network and sales teams to develop business within our existing customer base.
  • Identifying new opportunities within the designated branch network to develop and grow the business, bringing on new business allowing us to extend our reach.
  • Operating within the region to assist in developing customer relationships and maximising sales at every opportunity.
  • Meeting and exceeding agreed sales and margin targets.
  • Building relationships with key preferred suppliers to ensure we become merchant of choice and work together to target potential customers.
  • Establishing excellent working relationships within the branches to ensure on-going continuity of business.
  • Acting as an external ambassador and capitalise on Plumbase’s reputation and extensive product range.
  • Continually updating product knowledge and sharing with customers to maximise sales and margin.
  • Supporting the branch to identify dormant and declined business opportunities.
  • Identifying and negotiating business opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Keeping all administration up to date on an IT platform.
  • As and when required, cover business critical requirements.
  • Owning and maintaining flexible time management, organisation, planning and support.
  • Contributing to the overall sales team and strategy.

As this role will invole driving the suitable candidate must hold a full driving licence.
